Animal Wednesday / A new King !

We have a new King!
Yesterday was our last Queens day. After 33 years our beloved queen Beatrix ended her 33-year reign and her son became King.
I nearly spent all day watching TV yesterday and enjoyed it thoroughly.

    I thought of you, Marja and all your families during the ceremonies! How exciting!!!! Yes, the Orange Garlands are so beautiful.... you know I am a *History-Loving* Zuster....and this was definitely historical!!!!

    Haha Marianne, I just left a comment on another blog about a dog in a dress and it was not favorable :-)

    I listened to this slice of history also. The American public radio news wondered why more attention was not given on this side of the pond; not at the same level as England, certainly. But I did not feel that way. I thought of you and marja and wine-a-kee and I was glad for your country

      I hardly ever like dogs dressed up Mostly they look so pitiful :( I grabbed this image from the internet to make the connection with AW.

    LOVE this... what gorgeous pictures. It is truly like watching a fairy tale - I am always enamored of all things royal... must be that I am a princess at heart. ;)
