We have a new King!
Yesterday was our last Queens day. After 33 years our beloved queen Beatrix ended her 33-year reign and her son became King.
I nearly spent all day watching TV yesterday and enjoyed it thoroughly.

DeleteGarlands.....I couldn't think of the word in English ;)
How did I not know about this? What a lovely looking family tho. Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome :)
DeleteHaha Marianne, I just left a comment on another blog about a dog in a dress and it was not favorable :-)
ReplyDeleteI listened to this slice of history also. The American public radio news wondered why more attention was not given on this side of the pond; not at the same level as England, certainly. But I did not feel that way. I thought of you and marja and wine-a-kee and I was glad for your country
