For Suki

Unfortunately the photo isn't that good. The paintings were behind glass so the flash is too much, but maybe you get the idea this way. When you click on the painter in the post you can see in the enlargement (in the right lower corner) a piece of the painting as well. I also found a video on YouTube, which explains it better. Enjoy!

  1. Wow Marianne. This painting is amazing. Do you own it?? Similar to Chinese Brush painting but the idea he did it with his hand is incredible. And what a savings on brushes :)

Thank you for posting this especially for me! My head is swelling with importance. I will watch the youtube now.

Be well and hope yr son is feeling better about whatever happened.

  2. The video is great Marianne. Makes me want to try it. Although I know years of practice goes into making such a painting. I took Chinese Brush painting lessons for awhile. VERY hard. Thanks again. Suki

  3. No it's not mine........
I really would like to see you paint like this!
This man learned it from his father, they told me.
I loved to watch him paint.
It begins with a big smudge and you think; o....this is wrong, but out of everything something beautiful arises, just fascinating to see. Like a little miracle unfolding.
