This is the painting I was struggling with last week.........
I don't know if it is finished or not but I took it home.
I love how the sky and water turned out, but the rest....nah.
I will just look at it and see what I would like to change.
I feel much better after my cold and played tennis and went to my art class with the bike instead of the car.
When I came home I found Sjimmie in the window sill.....
Just like he was still there since 2 weeks ago....
English singer & songwriter (1940 - 1980)
Sjimmie: "Now that is something for human beings
I just plan my naps that's all. and in between naps I just live by the moment."
Happy Animal Wednesday!

I really like this painting... but I will be interested to see what changes you decide to make.
ReplyDeleteOh, that SJIMMIE!!!!! I can't imagine anything more adorable to come home and find! He fits in that basket perfectly....
I am so happy you are feeling better! (Luv the John Lennon song...those wrods are so true!)
See you soon!

I like the painting...the hills both green and purple have female feeling for me in their shapes. Very sensual.
ReplyDeleteAnd your kitty is such a love.
So sweet!!!Hug him for me please, and happy animal Wednesday to you too.
I love the colors in your painting! Hide it for a few days and you will see what is bothering you.
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud when I saw Sjimmie in that basket. What a guy!!!!
So happy you are feeling better.
I think if you put away your painting for awhile you will have a better perspective of what bothers you about it. I like those rolling hills. Sjimmie is living the royal life. King of the house no doubt. HAW.
ReplyDeletemarianne, i LOVE the painting. maybe some more depth on the green hills but my god, everyother aspect of the mountains, sky, ocean is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteit is a thrill to see your work in other mediums. well well done
