Our apples trees are blooming
Our girls are pregnant? Or not?
Queens day this Monday (DH took this picture, I was in Shanghai)
Look at that Malus in bloom!
Today I worked on my new window :)
When I see these towers I know I am nearly home. I just love a sky like this when it brings out this light on the trees and green.
This is what I am painting on Wednesdays. The view from my garden...........
An yes in real the towers are that crooked:)
My cactus bloomed and had still some Orchids left from Bangkok!
Last one standing. Can you believe I brought these flowers home the 21st of February. That is more than 10 weeks ago!
Today on my way to my stained glass class we were early and visited the castle in Burg-Haamstede.
Have been to Shanghai in the meanwhile, but couldn't blog there or get on Facebook.......so I missed a lot.
Returned Tuesday late and have had 2 busy days and so will be tomorrow. Nearly no time to catch up with you all. I try to do little by little while drinking my morning coffee.
Have a nice day!
♥♥♥
Some great photos here. Nice of your hubby to take some for you too. Love the painting. At first I thought it was a real photo not a painting. Had to look twice. Welcome back hope you get rested up before having to take off again.
ReplyDeleteThanks:) And yes I am glad he took pictures Monday. The only 2 sunny days................and I missed them. Today rain again :(
DeleteYou are having such a fun busy time in your life now Marianne. I can't wait to see your stained-glass window. Your painting is coming along just great. I love those crooked towers. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteYes busy times. Now I have to work only 2 more times before my summer holiday starts.
DeleteThe window is drying now and I will collect it Monday.
These pix were all so interesting. Such a different view for me to see all these interesting things. And a blooming cactus!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Yes the cactus is finished blooming. But I am so proud he did that after one year!
DeleteWhat a great post , Marianne. I love so much seeing where and how you live.
ReplyDeleteYour painting is really coming along. The leaning makes it all the more precious. But omg that window. Marianne! I had no idea you were tackling such a huge creative stained glass project. The clamps alone speak to that
You and Mim, for some reason especially blow me away. I think it is because you are so humble and understated about the variety of art and talent that you live
Xoxo
I hope one day you will see it with your own eyes!
DeleteThe glass project was bigger than I expected. It took me 4 days instead of the 2 planned :)
Oh everything looks so beautiful - and I have so much to catch up on also. I love your painting of the crooked towers, and all the beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteI will be catching up on your other posts, so intriguing looking.
We are always on the way or catching up Mim ;)
DeleteI made the window in my winter holiday. I had some busy days behind me and today I HAVE to clean the house.... :(
