Thankful Thursday (#11)
True love!
I have received a lot of sweet mail! Wonderful ATC's, which I wanted to show, but I have had another busy day. Finished my pond and now I have a sore throat, which is a sign for me to take care of myself. I am tired.
Hope to post and visit you all tomorrow.
I am thankful for all the wonderful mail I got this week (which I will show soon!), for having my camera back, for having finished my pond and for another healthy fawn!

Animal Wednesday (#16) Part 2
She will give birth tonight or tomorrow.
Sorry I had such a busy day : my weekly tennis morning. Shopping for groceries.
One of my ponds had a leak so I took it out and put in new foil.
Then I baked 60 pancakes for the childrens tennis tournament.
I went to my friend Marian and had a glass of Rosé when Germain called to say a fawn was born, so we rushed home again.
It is late now and getting dark, I am having my dinner now (a slice of Pizza) and will go to bed.
Sorry I haven't visit you, it has been a crazy day.........I will tomorrow.
Once again Happy Animal Wednesday!

Animal Wednesday (#16)
This is a mural I did years ago. Fleur (the cat) and Pluis (the rabbit) for the daughter of my friend Erna. Those were her pets. Fleur is still alive and kicking , but Pluis is enjoying retirement in rabbit heaven.
And this rabbit I did for Emily, who is my very special friend!!
It could have been a nice R for the ABC ATC's Around the World, but iot was custom made for Emily. I imagine her like this. Does it resemble you?
She is my special friend! No one can come between us! Well unless you have an endless amount of jelly beans...............No, I don't think so.
Happy Animal Wednesday!

Happy Fathersday
Happy Fathersday!
This butterfly will fly to Bella, who just lost her husband and the father of her 2 children.
If you want to send her something, to lift her spirits, please look here.
This post is for all the fathers no longer among us.
I will think a lot about my father today, as I do every day. I still miss him but I also cherish all the beautiful memories. I am thankful for all the years we have had.
He was the best Dad I could imagine. Lucky me.

Back from Bejing
Mandala in Chinese style for Vera (from 2004)
I am back from Bejing. Had a good time there.
Unfortunately I couldn't visit your blogs because they were blocked (guess they have censorship over there) so I have been 3 days without blogging!
I have a lot of catching up to do which I will try this weekend.
Here are a few impressions from Beijing. The weather was foggy, which gave a spooky atmosphere to everything. I have never seen fog and high temperatures together..... I am used to fog in the winter here.
This trip I discovered the subway there which is a perfect way of transportation. I was the only foreigner in the subway!
I felt safe and efficient.
Beside shopping I visit the Lama Temple, which was beautiful.
Some pictures and video´s I made with my phone, not the best of quality....
On my way home from Schiphol I collected my Nikon in Rotterdam, which is brand new again, so glad to have it back!
Have a nice weekend!

Thankful Thursday! (#8)
I got this award from KJ!
Isn't it just the cutest picture with that heart in the sky!
I feel honored that you thought about me in your list of nominees KJ!
I'd like to pass the award on to everyone on my bloglist!
And to Emily who deserves an award as well, she is KJ's co-writer on Animal Wednesdays!
You can meet them both on KJ's blog, go over there and have fun!
Lynn's ATC arrived together with one of her beautiful photocards!
I still haven't got my camera back, so this picture doesn't do her art justice.
So please visit her blog to see her amazing art and photocards, which are for sale.
Thanks Lynn love them all!
A few days ago I woke up on the coach and found Sjimmie using my foot as a pillow.
I thought it was such a cute sight!
I am grateful to have a cat, who puts all his trust in me.
Just this little thing; his head on my foot can fill my heart with happiness and gratitude.
Hope you will find lots of things today to be grateful for!

D= for Desert Rose
D= for Desert Rose
This ATC is made for the ABC group and goes to Gina in Ireland
One of my favorite flowers. They don't belong in the climate where I live. Proof these plants trying to survive the winter and my care. They really look pityful here.
Here they are where they thrive best, in Africa.
After toturing them for 2 years I finally got them to blossom!
I am so happy!
Which have a beautiful transparancy and colors.
