Dalai Lama's Birthday Party!!!!!

Last Friday I went to my friend Goedele.

We had a good laugh about this card she got for her birthday.

The night before I groomed my doggies and took them with me. Goedele loves my dogs and the dogs are in love with her. Here is Tiuri their pet. Isn't he gorgeous!!!!! And here are my girl ready for Spring with their new hair cut.

Today is Goedele's birthday!

This is the very first mandala I painted.

My gosh .......the canvas was too little ;)

Although I like my work better now I look back on this one with pleasure.

It reflects my friends personality so well.

She is such a sweet person and a sunshine in the lives of many!

And all her good qualities are too many to behold on a canvas.

Years later she asked me to paint her another mandala .

This mandala was for another place in another country (and in another live).

I used the same symbols.

Both for the same person, both different yet still the same?

Is Simon sure it is his cat? It looks a lot like Sjimmie when he was young....... My dinner table chairs all (8!) look the same as that chair! He didn't spare one. I have replaced my curtians which btw also looked the same way. Now I know why he behaved liked that!! There must have been a fly in the house and he probably killed him for me. Poor Sjimmie I didn't even reward him at that time.....................

He has calmed down now, maybe time for some new furniture?

In this mandala I painted a koi tattoo.

This treasures came from Lolo!

Her new series of ABC ATC's she is sending in gorgeous organza puches and I was wondering how she got those glitter letters on. Well now I know and I have the same in gorgeous purple!

Spring feeling........

I have changed my bloglook .

And I have redone my website as well.

I have tried to make it easier to navigate and got rid of a lot of things.

I made a complete new site which is very well organized.............so unlike me.

I have tried to create a bit of a Spring feeling. It is still cold here and no signs of Spring yet.

Cactus Monday / Lemur

Ring tailed lemur feeding on prickly pear cactus.

Back from my trip to Chicago. Had a great time there. Shopped till I dropped and went to one of the last Oprah Winfrey Shows! Janet Jackson and Tylor Perry were her guests.

Today I will be out most of the day. I will pick my Mom up and together we will visit my friend Aulikki who is still in rehab after her hip surgery.

It starts to snow here again..................Please stop and give Spring a chance!!!!!!!
