Cactus Monday (#17)

Here is my instant cactus family I bought at IKEA just before Christmas. How can I be a Cactus Monday member when I don´t even have a cactus in my home? (Except from one Christmas cactus, which is more like a succulent I think) Hope they will survive here, all my plants die a slow death here , I´m terrible with houseplants. Any suggestions? Happy Cactus Monday!

  3. I am not good with regular houseplants that you have to remember to water, but cacti dont need a lot of watering so maybe they will be okay. In fact I think too much water can cause them to rot. These are very cute in their matching pots.

  5. Sweet arrangements. I love the flips also.

Cacti thrive on ignoring them. Only water them about once a month and put them in direct sun if possible. (killer is my name also but I learned this the hard way)

  6. oh they are SO CUTE! I love them.

They are hard to kill, no worries. Well except overwatering, especially during the dormant time of year.

  7. Happy Cactus Monday to you, Marianne! I have one on my kitchen counter, under lights. This is my first cactus, and she's still living after almost a year. Thanks for sharing!

  8. yes, ignoring them is the best way not to kill them! And when you do water them make sure it's only a trickle...like a couple of teaspoons :)
They're adorable! Doesn't it look like they're all trying to peek out from their hiding places?
