  10. How interesting.
When I first looked at this I only saw Shalom in Hebrew! I even thought I say Lynn in Hebrew on the bottom. How egotistical am I?
I guess we see what we want to see.
Then you turned it over and said there were six Peace(s) there. Only then did I see the others.
I see the peace sign circa 1960, what looks to be arabic writing ? on the top/bottom...
and the heart...please explain the other 2. thanks, Lynn/EGO/LOL

  11. Thanks everyone for your sweet comments!

Lynn, indeed the 1st is Hebrew, when you turn it around you can read AS-SALAAm in Arabic, Then there is the peace symbol, a hand with 2 fingers, the Latin PAX and Russian MIR. That makes six. The heart is just there.
Some are very hard to read but they are there.........
This mini mandala (ATC) I made for the number 6 (indigo), that´s why I wrote peace in 6 ways and the mandala is devided in 6 parts and I used different shades of indigo.
My husband thought it was daring to use the arabic and hebrew in one mandala, but I guess peace is daring, you have to listen and see and accept each others differences and reach out to each other.
Peace seems so far away and impossible sometimes........

  12. I think it's great that you wrote both Shalom and Salaam on the same mandala. Those are the areas we need to bring together in PEACE in whatever language!!!!!!!
    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
