Green Zenmandala

Today I had a Assist refresher,a team I joined a few years ago.If ever a disaster will occur they can send me there to assist victims. The visit of the man from DVI was impressive, who showed a DVD of their work (Identifying victims) in Thailand after the Tsunami. I hope They will never need my services. Vandaag een refresher gehad van mijn ASSIST cursus, die ik een paar jaar geleden heb gedaan. Een team van vrijwilligers die opgeroepen kan worden na een ramp gebeurd om slachtoffers bij te staan op verschillende manieren. S'Middags kwam een rechercheur van het RIT (Ramp Indentiificatie Team) een verhaal doen en liet een DVD zien van het werk van zijn team in Thailand na de Tsunami, heel indrukwekkend. laten we hopen dat ze mijn diensten nooit nodig zullen hebben.

    Marianne, your mandala is lovely.
    I too took such a course for counselors. And I too left hoping I'd never be needed. I'd have to complete a Red Cross course too to even be called, but it sure brought to mind the need and the horrors one would learn about.

    I love your zenmandala Marianne. I hope you are never called to a disaster either. It takes great courage to work on one of those. I know you could do it but it would be so stressful. Take care.

    Oh Marianne, I hope you are never, ever needed in this capacity. I have to say it takes absolutely amazing people to do this kind of work. Kudos to you, my friend!

    On the other hand, I am in love with this beautiful mandala! I can imagine if you ever had to help with anything like this you would be making mandalas right and left in order to help yourself emotionally get through it! We are focusing on it NOT happening for you!

    Very impressive that you are on a disaster team! What a big sacrifice on your part, for sure! I'm sure you will be so welcomed if ever needed...let's pray not, though!!!

    Your mandala is great! I love the color green in the last year or so!

    Wow Marianne....that is vital training and I know I would want you around in a crisis!!!

    wat n interessante kursus. daar is so baie probleme in ons wereld en ons moet bereid wees daarvoor. liefs en wfs en ek hou baie van jou zenman. xx
