Had no idea what to post for Cactus Monday.....
Last week I bought a cactus at the garden centre. A small one, the same which I had as a child. Kind of sentimental journey.
It had 5 buds ready to bloom, but now 4 dried up....... What´s this?! I can´t even keep a cactus alive!
Looking for something to paint I googled for an image and found this page! In dutch, but you will enjoy the pictures, they are gorgeous.
Happy Cactus Monday!
Happy Cactus Monday!

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely!
ReplyDeleteLovely cactus blossom painting! I don't know why the buds on your new cactus from the garden centre dried up. I have trouble growing cactus at my house even though I live in the desert.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog...I'm thinking my cactus is not the "octopus cactus" because it doesn't have sharp spines on it. It's just "bumpy". It'll be interesting to watch the paddle cactus and see what happens. I've seen some really beautiful ones. PAM
ReplyDeleteVery Nice! Happy Cactus Monday!
