Picnic time!!!! (+HCM)
Hi everyone! Glad so many of you could come!
What did I bring?
First of all this pink basket! So cute! I'm sure you will also have brought some baskets. You can never have enough plates.......
Hallo allemaal! Fijn dat jullie allemaal konden komen!
Wat heb ik meegebracht?
Ten eerste deze roze picnic mand. So leuk!
I cooked mussels. I decided to bring specialities from the region in which I live.
These are very famous here and although I am not a kitchen princess, this is one of the things I can prepare well.(If I may say so).
(Ps: I always add a little wine or beer when cooking them)
Buttercandies, a real treat from Zeeland.
Zeeuwse babbelaars, en echte traktatie.
Bolussen, of course bought at "the Stadsbakkerij", who has won a prize for making the best ones!
Some other goodies from here.
Ander lekkers van hier.
I'll take Sjimmie along for the entertainment. And he loves empty bread baskets!
And Koekie and Droppie, just in case Emmitt shows up! And to play with Snuffles!
And for all the cactuteers who are coming some cactus figs, which I bought at the market here. ( I have tasted my first cactus fruit!)
Happy cactus monday! And Enjoy our picnic!
Happy cactus monday! En geniet van de picnic!

You have made some wonderful contributions to the picnic here. I am having such a wonderful time today....

Hi Marianne, thank you for stoppin by my corner of the picnic. I notice the resemblance of our dogs too. My dog is a shih-tzu. He is a big one. Some people think he is a Lhasa Apso. What about your two cuties?
ReplyDeleteMarianne! Thank you so much for bringing the beautiful picnic basket. The mussels are sooo delicious! Perfect picnic! The cactus figs are very good - I've not had one before. It's always fun to try something new. If you'd like to hop in my plane I'm on my way to Australia for a few minutes.
