Invasion and miscellaneous

Oh Sjimmie what´s up ? .........An invasion! Today we collected my parent`s cats. I have promised my Dad that when something would happen I would take take of his cats. This is Pomme, she is born at my place 16 years ago. Poor Pomme, she doesn´t like this change..... And this is Sarah, which I took from the shelter about 14 years ago for my parents. I think she is glad to have some people around again. She will adapt soon I think. She loves to be able to go outside again (we have a petdoor). They have been home alone for about one week and my SIL came to feed them every day. I decided to bring them home after my trip to Bejing, so I will have 10 days to help them and my cats adjust to their new situation. We have 6 cats now........,while I want to have 2. Will that ever happen.......... In January I received this ATC from Julie. Isn´t it sweet? It is a little Mosaic. Thanks once again Julie! Nogmaals bedankt Julie! Together with this handmade Christmas card, which was sent twice to Holland. When I came home yesterday this sweet card of Lisa was waiting for me. It is from Marjolein Bastin , a Dutch artist who makes wonderful things and who is quite popular in the States. Lisa's words were so sweet! Included was a colorful heart chakra mandala! Thanks so much Lisa! I really long for my own studio again to surround me with all my treasures. For now I'll have to find a place in my hall of fame. Reauze bedankt Lisa! Finally: Tenslotte: This candle is for Yvette, Who just had an operation. Read more about this candle and Yvette at Martine's blog.

  1. Sjimmie's eyes are so wide!! He's not sure what to make of this roommate business!

Pomme and Sarah will adjust, poor things. They're very beautiful. It's so good of you to make that promise to your dad. The cats are in their golden years and need a soft place to fall. I'm sure they feel his abscence :(

You have a HUGE heart Marianne.

And yes, I would love to trade an ATC for the purple spiral! You're getting a cactus one anyway, so in trade I'll make something special.

  6. Your Dad's cats will adjust. They all will. It is a good thing that you are home and can help everyone with the transition. The new cats certainly are beautiful. They are lucky that you have a big heart.
