Animal Wednesday (#20)

Sweden day #3 On Monday it rained and rain is only nice at home when the plants need water...... We decided to go to Göteborg and see the town, but it was raining so hard we only did the Museum, the Universeum. A wonderful sience musem in the centre of town.
We saw all kinds of animals (click to enlarge)
Amazing jellyfish. I just love them!
Colorful birds, have no idea what they are...... Have you? I would love to know.
I love the setup of this musem, it is so much fun! Allthough I must admit I'd rather see animals in the wild than in captivity........ A hard dilemma, because in that way my children would see very little. Near our summer house we saw a deer crossing the road! At my uncle's house my niece Molly found the biggest frog I ever saw (I'll show you later) and an immense bug! Animals make the world a so much better place! Imagine the world without animals...................I'd rather live on the moon then. Happy Animal Wednesday!

  6. I love seeing your travel journal pages. I think those jellyfish look familiar. :) I believe the big red birds are Scarlet Ibis. I got to see them in the wild when we were in Trinidad. They were coming into their nighttime roost. It was quite a sight. Life/the world would be very dull without animals.

  8. your journal is lovely. thanks for the translation. I do think museums liek this are for children esp. As with you, I prefer seeing animals in the wild, even though it may mean i dont see as many of them.

  10. Hi Marianne,

    Liefs,
    Muktha
