Animal Wednesday / spring...............

Another Spring mandala in the egg series I did for school.

The temperature is rising but also the chance of rain showers................

Too bad. 

I just came home and looked forward to some more spring but I guess I have to have some more patience........

I know some of you are still having cold weather as well so we are all in this together.

Can't be long though.......................

Let the sun shine........

Let the Sun Shine!!!!!!

Here we have had some real sunny days.

 I spent a day at the beach with Beaudor.I have worked in the garden . Played tennis outside.

Unfortunately I had to spent a day at work today. Drove 300 kilometers to spend a gorgeous day in a classroom:(,  but tomorrow I will be working in the garden again.

Spring is really here!!!!!!

Animal Wednesday / Nadine

Birth mandala made for my new niece Nadine, who was born on the 28th of January.

The mandala has 2 orange kittens.

Cat's medicine includes independence, unpredictability, healing, curiosity, many lives, magic, mystery, cleverness, the ability to fight when cornered, seeing the unseen, protection and allows us to dream its dreams. Love is also represented by the cat. 

Well and talking about love. Nadine's life path number is 33 so I picked 33 rainbow hearts for that number. 

May your day be filled with rainbows and love.

Hey is it me or another imposter?!

Here is a message from the real Sjimmie:

Don't believe everything my Mom writes on this blog!
Sure I am a real killer. Proof  is on our lawn. Grey feathers of what was once a birdie and my Mom cleaned up some remains yesterday in our hall.......another victim.
Sorry I couldn't help it.
But two weeks ago she posted a video of a cat wearing a rabbit hat.
Well first of all I like Emily, she is my Mom's best friend. Thought I was....... but I would never accuse her of something I did. Besides I am way too proud of my little naughty escapades.
And I sure hope no one really thought I would be so stupid to put on a hat voluntarily. I think no real cat would do such a stupid thing. You know what I think? I think they put it on on that poor guy. Any normal reaction would be to take it of , all cats would do that! I think they just played the video backwards.
Well I bet none of you thought about that!
Well you are forgiven, you have to be a cat to think of that.
As for the thumbs up.......................that's Jimmy , my name is Sjimmie. Be careful with what my Mom wants you to believe in the future . Better listen to me.........
I might be a chicken murderer, that is what my mom calls me, but at least I am an honest one.

Dex

A mandala I made for Dex.

He was born last month on the 7th .

In his mandala I used a frog as a totem animal for him.

A quick-list for animal symbolism of the frog includes Luck-Purity-Rebirth-Renewal-Fertility-Healing-Metamorphosis-Transitions-Dreaming-Opportunity and Intermediary

In many cultures the primary symbolic meaning of frogs deals with fertility. This is largely because these cultures observed Frogs laying enormous quantities of eggs, therefore making it a fertility symbol as well as a symbol of abundance.

Around me a lot of babies are born. Lovely but I sure hope it is not contagious ;)

To me the frog is also related to joy and spring. No  frogs here to be seen yet. It is cold but the sun is shining today and somehow it can't be long before spring will be here.

Have been off line yesterday. Luckily it was only the adapter of the router which was broken. We still had the adapter from our previous router so problem was fixed this morning.

Gee not even 24 hours without internet and I feel challenged already........

A mandala (A4 size) I made for a dear friend who needed something for an auction to raise money for a children's hospital.

I did the 3 circles with compasses and the rest was freehand drawing.

I liked this process. 

It is enhanced with some glitter. I think it is a happy love mandala ;)

Animal Wednesday / Bird Mandala

One of the designs I made for school.
Those two birds I see  in my garden but no owls here in the city.
I love them though, to me they are like flying cats. I once had a cat who had the same eyes as an owl......
